- Add a file to the index:

`git add {{path/to/file}}`
|
|
|

- Add all files (tracked and untracked):

`git add -A`
|

- Add all files in the current folder:

`git add .`
|
|
|
|
- Only add already tracked files:
|
|
|

`git add -u`
|
|
|
|
- Also add ignored files:
