# uuidd

- Generate a random UUID:

`uuidd --random`
|
|
|
|
- Generate a bulk number of random UUIDs:
|
|
|
|
`uuidd --random --uuids {{number_of_uuids}}`

- Generate a time-based UUID, based on the current time and MAC address of the system:
|
|
|
|
`uuidd --time`
