That is if any CPP application is under debug. Because Pin View is never
enabled other than CPP application debug session.
This also includes Action to Command migration.

Beta versions of maven plugins are omitted from this
upgrade.
A new version of Tycho brings in an update ECJ which means some
of the class files are different, hence the need to bump versions
of bundles too.
A new calendar year brings an update to Copyrights
The CDT Debug Activites was originally added when we had two
distinct debuggers in CDT, the DSF one and the CDI one. To
eliminate confusion the preferences for the respective
debug infrastructures were only displayed if users actually
ran such a debug session.
Now with just one debug infrastructure, we should always display
the preference pages. It also removes some confusion that some
preference pages weren't visible until after you started the
debug session. So for example, users couldn't turn on or off
a bunch of default settings until after creating and launching
a debug session.
I have left the enableActivity call in GdbLaunchDelegate in
case any extenders were hiding some of their UI behind that key.
The only exception in the above is the View Performance preference
page which was misplaced in the top level Run/Debug preference
tree, even though it is CDT specific. That preference page has
been re-parented to C/C++ -> Debug
Fixes https://github.com/eclipse-cdt/cdt/issues/972
- Fix links for cdt-infra
- The cdt-infra git repo is now archived, so this commit updates
the links to the current values.
- Add new Docker related files to the gitattributes as text files
- Update DEFAULT_BUFFER_SIZE for Java 21's value when building JNI,
this also means the dll/exe need a rebuild
- add a toolchains.xml since we use Java 21 toolchain, but most bundles
are Java 17 still
With the first part of the fix in #603 we recreate the document
regularly (on each context change) therefore we need to let any
consumers of the document fetch the current version of the document
from the editor (by calling getAdapter(IDocument.class)) when
it is needed, rather than caching it.
Fixes#603
The view can be reset in a couple of ways, by changing debug
context or manually refreshing. With this change in Platform
https://github.com/eclipse-platform/eclipse.platform.ui/pull/963
the CDT violation of the API aronud resetting state of the
document was exposed.
Therefore the solution is to instead of trying to reset the
state of the existing document, create a new one when the
view is reset.
Fixes#603
Some bundles are bumped because dev happened between 11.2 release and
this version bump. The most significant change that happened
was the bump in Tycho version which changed ECJ version and
hence some class files changed
Part of #420
Disassembly view is expected to be populated with lines that are fetched from a given source file. There might be the case where instructions on what lines to append are wrong. This results in a null response that will propagate through the code leading to a NPE.
The current commit is proofing the code from NPE by:
- removing the source position of the lines that were not found within the given file
- null checking the source before becoming a key element in the code flow
- adding logging if expected lines are not found in the given file
Resolves: #287
Warning in build.properties will be errors when they run
in the tycho build, like this:
```
Error: Failed to execute goal org.eclipse.tycho:tycho-packaging-plugin:2.7.5:package-plugin
(default-package-plugin) on project org.eclipse.cdt.core.tests:
/home/runner/work/cdt/cdt/core/org.eclipse.cdt.core.tests/build.properties:
bin.includes value(s) [test.xml] do not match any files. -> [Help 1]
```
So make them errors in the workspace so that the issue is
detected before push.
Some build.properties issues don't affect the build, but
are still indicative of a problem.
The only time the stack service is unavailable is:
1. Stack service hasn't been started yet
2. Stack service has been shutdown
3. Stack service never gets created
All of these cases are configuration error, except (2). In (2) the
stack service isn't available to do source lookup, so instead
of an error, simply return no file (aka null)
Fixes#53
The removed assertion was overly harsh and some combinations of fonts
and text meant that the assertion was being hit. This code
was based on LineNumberRulerColumn (platform.text) which has long
since removed the assertion - see
3e70d44d64
for the removed assertion.
Note that this change simply removes the assertion and does not
address all the possibilities of mixed fonts. I suspect that there
may be some (hopefully) small drawing errors if such mixed fonts
are used. This code (unlike platform text) will continue to
assume all lines are the same height.

Over the years, there have been a few changes to the
ExpressionInformationControlCreator class in JDT that was never
backported to the CDT version of the class.
Below is a list of JDT commit id's for the changes that are ported with
this change:
* cdcbfc3d91770a370336a7e48fff3e33edcaab39 - Fix bitwise to boolean and

(system colors) as fallback.

Newer Tycho has a new feature that adds an extra header (Bundle-License)
to every plug-in. This commit includes omitting this new feature
rather than bumping every single version of every bundle in CDT.
See https://www.eclipse.org/tycho/sitedocs/tycho-packaging-plugin/package-plugin-mojo.html#deriveHeaderFromProject
Bundles have version bumps due to newer Tycho including newer
JDT compiler which leads to classfile differences.
