# jj commit

- Open editor to write the commit message and then create a new empty commit on top:

`jj commit`

- Commit with the given message:

`jj commit {{[-m|--message]}} "{{message}}"`

- Interactively choose which changes to include:

`jj commit {{[-i|--interactive]}}`
