# Greater than

- Redirect `stdout` to a file:

`{{command}} > {{path/to/file}}`

- Append to a file:

`{{command}} >> {{path/to/file}}`

- Redirect both `stdout` and `stderr` to a file:

`{{command}} &> {{path/to/file}}`

- Redirect both `stdout` and `stderr` to `/dev/null` to keep the terminal output clean:

`{{command}} &> /dev/null`
